Newtown Seeks Volunteer For Another Commission

The Sustainable Energy Commission is looking to fill a vacancy.

NEWTOWN, CT — The town is looking to fill another vacancy on one of its commissions, Newtown First Selectman Dan Rosenthal announced Monday.

The Sustainable Energy Commission has a vacancy available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter, according to Rosenthal. Interested people are asked to submit resumes by Aug. 31.

Additionally, the town continues to look for Republican or unaffiliated volunteers to join the Inland Wetland Commission and the Pension Committee.
