Newtown Woman's Club "Adopts" Chairs at Edmond Town Hall Theater
Newtown Woman's Club donates to Edmond Town Hall
The Newtown Woman's Club "adopts" two chairs in the Edmond Town Hall movie theater balcony. The donation was raised through the NWC Conservation Committee's collection of bottles and cans. For more than 45 years, the Newtown Woman’s Club, GFWC has been a part of the community, providing volunteer service as a member of both the Greater Federation of Women’s Clubs of Connecticut and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. Any woman who is interested in community service is invited to join. The club schedules a luncheon meeting on the third Thursday of each month, from September through May.
