Newtown's C.H. Booth Library Has 3 Unique Exhibits to View Through October
Come see paintings, Pez and more at C.H. Booth Library.

The Cyrenius H. Booth Library has three unique displays on exhibits. The Pez exhibit is on display in hallway near the children’s department. the popular collectible candy originated in Austrian in 1927 and gained popularity during the war. In 1973, Pez built a factory in Orange, Connecticut.
In the Olga Knoepke Memorial Room on the first floor of the Library building, there are two art exhibits currently being shown.

Exhibit: “Transformation” - presented by Western CT fiber arts group FiberWorks

October 10th through November 7th.
Opening Reception Sunday, October 12th, 2-4pm.
This show of contemporary fiber arts explores and conveys many facets of evolution, reorganization, reclamation and transmutation. It includes quilting, weaving, felting, and painting.
