The service was once offered at the Probate Court, although with the moving of the court, that left a hole that Jepsen is looking to fill. In addition to Jepsen, passport applicants can go to the post office on Commerce Road to apply or if they need their passport in a hurry, they must go to Norwalk passport agency.
While first-time applicants must apply in person, all renewals can be done through the mail, according to the government.
