Sandy Hook Man Accused of Sexually Touching Young Woman Arrested on Warrant: Police
Police served a warrant out of Mass. and the man now faces extradition.

SANDY HOOK, CT — A Sandy Hook man accused of sexually touching a young female victim in Massachusetts was arrested on a warrant in Sandy Hook on Jan. 26, according to police.
Newtown Police arrested Satish Gurjar, 50, as a fugitive from justice stemming from an arrest warrant out of Brockton, MA, on Jan. 26. Police told Patch that the suspect allegedly sexually touched a young female victim in the vending machine room of hotel lobby, and that he faces extradition to Massachusetts.
Police held Gurjar on $75,000 bond pending a Jan. 27 court date. Gurjar did not enter a plea in Danbury Superior Court and was released on $75,000 bond.
