Winterset Ski Club Welcomes Public to Canada Trip
Winterset Ski Club, based in Newtown, CT, is for people who love to ski - or always thought they'd like to try.
The Winterset Ski Club, based in Newtown, is sponsoring a ski trip to Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Jan. 28 to Feb. 4. The public is invited.
The trip cost includes roundtrip airfare from Newark Airport on United Airlines, round trip bus transfers from the airport to the mountains, seven nights ski-in- ski-out accommodations at slope side Legends Condos, a five-day ski lift ticket, “first tracks” breakfast voucher, farewell dinner, welcome reception, baggage handling, lodging, transportation taxes, bus drivers’ gratuities, and more.
Cost per person in a two-bedroom condo is $1,798. Three-bedroom condos are also available. The first payment of $600 and a trip membership fee of $25 per person is due by Sept. 1.
“Usually our trips are just for club members, but this one is so fabulous that we’re inviting local residents to join us,” said Carolyn Eiseman, one of the trip’s leaders.
