Woman Arrested for DUI, Adderall Possession in Newtown: Police
Police say the woman was seen swerving nearly off the roadway.

NEWTOWN, CT — A Bridgeport woman was arrested after she was seen nearly swerving off Hattertown Road on March 24.
Police say that a driver told police they saw a white 2003 Hyundai Elantra unable to maintain its lane and swerving as it traveled south at around 8:13 p.m. The driver said that while she was behind the Elantra, it nearly swerved off the road.
Officers stopped the Elantra, and determined that Margaret Iodice, 52, was under the influence and was in possession of Adderall. She was placed under arrest.

Iodice was charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol, failure to drive in the proper lane on a multiple-lane highway and possession of a controlled substance. She was released on a $500 bond.
