Man Arrested On Burglary Charges, Again: North Haven Police
The suspect was arrested for the second time in less than two months on burglary charges.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A North Haven man has been arrested on burglary charges for the second time in less than two months, according to police.
At about 1:55 a.m. on Jan. 17, North Haven Police responded to a burglary alarm activation at 384 State Street.
Responding officers found a damaged rear glass door that indicated an attempted burglary had occurred, according to police.

Detectives were able to retrieve physical evidence at the scene that identified a suspect.
Gregory Avitabile, 43, was arrested March 6 on a warrant and charged with criminal attempt to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary.

Avitabile was previously charged in connection to a burglary that occurred Jan. 18 at a State Street gas station in which more than $3,000 worth of items was stolen.
Avitabile is being held on bond and was assigned a court date of April 7 for both cases, according to state judicial records.
