New Pet Oxygen Masks Donated To North Haven Fire Department

NORTH HAVEN, CT — The North Haven Fire Department received new pet oxygen masks thanks to a fundraising effort set up by Brittany Heins. The department thanked Heins for her efforts in a Facebook post on Tuesday. Read the full message below:

“A huge thank you to Brittany Heins for her efforts in setting up a GoFundMe page intended to replace the fire department’s current pet oxygen masks. On Monday, January 22nd Brittany and her beloved dog Mayzie dropped off the masks she has been able to purchase so far through the generous donations of others which learned of her goal. The North Haven Fire Department is extremely appreciative of Brittany and all the others who contributed to this cause. Each fire apparatus which carries oxygen is now equipped with pet oxygen masks and should the unfortunate scenario occur in which the masks are needed we are now better prepared. Thank You!”
