$1,000,000 Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Norwalk

A local resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

NORWALK, CT — An unnamed Norwalk resident is $1 million richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Tuesday, the person claimed a winning Millionaire Maker ticket that bought at Corner Store Variety on Westport Avenue.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $30 per ticket, began in June, and as of Wednesday, two grand prizes of $1,000,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 2.8 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.72.
