NORWALK, CT — A new cutting-edge fitness studio is set to open at a former LA Fitness building in Norwalk.
Signs advertising the opening of a new Club Studio gym could be seen posted outside the building at 761 Main Avenue, near the Wilton border, earlier this week.
On Monday, a company spokesperson confirmed to Patch the upscale fitness chain was excited to bring Club Studio to Norwalk.
The spokesperson also noted the future Norwalk location currently has a VIP presale waitlist available for those interested in joining.
Those who sign up for the waitlist will receive updates on opening timelines, membership information and exclusive announcements as they become available, according to the spokesperson.
An opening timeline has not been announced for the Norwalk location at this time.
The Norwalk location is also listed as "coming soon" on the company's website, which describes Club Studio as "a cutting-edge fitness experience that brings top-of-the-line amenities, best in boutique studio classes and wellness services together in one gym."
In addition to a variety of fitness equipment and other amenities available for use, Club Studio also offers personal training, according to the website.
Club Studio operates locations in a number of states, including a Connecticut location in South Windsor.
In addition to Norwalk, a Stamford location is also listed on the website as "coming soon."
The new Club Studio gym will open in the former LA Fitness space, which closed back in April.
The area has seen a number of other business openings and closings in recent months.
In December, Dorello Carpets & Area Rugs announced the family-run carpet store was closing at 594 Main Avenue after more than four decades in business.
Nearby, popular fast-casual restaurant chain Just Salad announced the opening of its first Norwalk location at 644 Main Avenue back in March.
