Norwalk Public Schools Shares Survey Seeking Input In Search For New Superintendent (patch.com) — Norwalk Public Schools is asking families, staff, students and community members to complete a survey that will help define what the district should seek in its next superintendent. The anonymous questionnaire, available in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole, lets residents share their perceptions of local schools and weigh in on the leadership qualities they value most.

Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Norwalk (patch.com) — A Stamford resident just scored a $10,000 KENO win with a ticket bought at Crossroads Card and Gift in Norwalk, putting a local business in the lottery spotlight. Connecticut Lottery officials also highlight a new policy that withholds winners' full names without written consent, aiming to better protect players from scams.
4. New Norwalk committee begins work distributing affordable housing money (nancyonnorwalk.com) — Norwalk's new Affordable Housing Account Ordinance Committee has begun deciding how to distribute nearly $3 million collected from developer fees to support local affordable housing projects. Members are now shaping scoring rules that will determine which Norwalk developments can receive up to $1 million, with debates over prioritizing rentals versus ownership, project size, and how to spread housing options across the city.
5. Senator Duff & Norwalk Delegation Secure $6.2 Million for Flood Relief, Meeting House, & Local Roads (ct.gov) — Norwalk is set to receive more than $6.2 million in state bond funding for flood relief around New Canaan and Ponus Avenues, restoration of the historic West Norwalk Meeting House, and local road work. City and state leaders say the money will help protect homes and businesses from chronic flooding, preserve a key landmark, and keep everyday streets safer and better maintained.
