Norwalk Cheer Team Qualifies for Worlds Competition!

Xtreme Cheer CT & NY competed last weekend at Reach the Beach National Cheer Competition in Ocean City, MD.  Succeeding in securing an at-large invitational bid to the Cheerleading Worlds Competition at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort April 27 - 29 is Team Inferno, an International Open Coed Level 5 team consisting of athletes ages 15 to adult from surrounding counties in CT and NY.

 The Cheerleading Worlds Competition is the premier event in competitive cheer with teams from all over the world.  The young men and women from team Inferno have committed to each other back in the fall and have worked very hard and endured many practice hours in order to achieve their goal in securing this invitation to compete.

The athletes on this team come from all socio-economic backgrounds and many of them are self-supporting and do not have the resources to finance their trip to Orlando.  They would not be able to make the commitment without outside sponsorship help.  Any donation you can provide, no matter how small to help these team members see their dreams fulfilled would be greatly appreciated.  Inferno is coached by Dana Talbot, who owns the team along with her husband Mike.  Other members of Inferno include:
