Jimmy's Deli Closes In Norwalk After 30 Years In Business
The owners of the East Norwalk deli have closed their doors after more than 30 years in business and thanked customers for their support.
NORWALK, CT — Jimmy's Deli, a local sandwich and grocery shop located in East Norwalk, officially closed its doors Friday after more than 30 years in business.
On June 27, owner Jimmy Iosifides announced plans to close the family-run deli, located at 65 Van Zant Street, on the deli's Facebook page.
"We will miss all the people we have met over the years, the memories we have made and all the mouths we have fed," the post reads. "We want to express our deepest gratitude to our amazing customers and staff for supporting us through the years. We will miss you all dearly!"

A few days before shutting down Friday, the owner encouraged customers to stop by and share some memories as the business bid farewell to East Norwalk.
In addition to a wide selection of sandwiches, paninis and wraps, Jimmy's Deli also offered a variety of breakfast options, as well as salads, soups, burgers and hot lunch options ranging from chicken souvlaki and fish and chips to grinders and buffalo wings.
