Luggage collection to benefit the Carver Foundation of Norwalk

As part of a partnership effort with the Carver Foundation, Bankwell will be collecting new and “like new” luggage through Friday, April 8, at the 156 Cherry Street branch in New Canaan and 370 Westport Avenue branch in Norwalk.

The luggage will benefit 9th – 11th grade students from the Carver Foundation of Norwalk, who will be spending spring break touring colleges in Philadelphia, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.

Based in Norwalk, The Carver Foundation is Norwalk’s largest provider of after school and summer programs. Its mission is to help children and youth “reach their greatest potential by providing educational, social and recreational programs in a positive, safe and fun environment.”
