The residents worked in restaurants for years and decided it was time to have one of their own.

FAIRFIELD, CT — New Mexican restaurant, Tequila Revolucion, opened its doors this week at 1851 Post Road in Fairfield. The restaurant is owned and operated by Norwalk residents Ryan Gillespie and Mauricio Guevara, who spent years working in restaurants and decided it was time to have own of their own, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports Gillespie and Guevara worked together at Tequila Mockingbird in New Canaan and, after a shift in ownership, they decided to open their own restaurant.
Tequila Revolucion serves traditional Mexican dishes and mixes things up with a specials menu that changes daily, according to the Post.
