Norwalk State Rep Praises Passage of Second Chance Society, Body Camera Bill
Rep. Bruce Morris praised the passage of multiple important criminal justice bills.

Norwalk State Rep. Bruce Morris (D-Norwalk) praised the passage of bipartisan legislation affecting law enforcement regulations and the Second Chance Society.
The legislature passed bills that would fund body cameras for state troopers, increase police training and appoint special prosecutors in cases involving an officer’s use of deadly force.
“When a technology such as body cameras has attracted the support of both law enforcement and victim advocates, you know its time has come,” he said. ”Public safety is one of government’s top responsibilities, and this bill provides additional tools that will help better protect the public and police officers alike.”
