Norwalk Students Shine in Online Art Exhibition

The 2022 Stacy M. Israel Art, Architecture + Design Student Exhibition (SAADE) opens Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Featuring over 400 works in drawing, painting, ceramics, color, photography, sculpture, architecture, interior design and graphic design by Norwalk Community College’s Art, Architecture + Design department students, the sprawling exhibit can be viewed at https://norwalk.edu/aad/saade2022/.

A culmination of the academic year, the SAADE has been an annual Norwalk Community College event for over two decades, with works filling the east and west campus art gallery spaces. Shifting to a virtual presence in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an in-person return in spring of 2023 is anticipated.

The Stacy M. Israel Art, Architecture + Design Student Exhibition is sponsored by a gift from the A. C. Israel Foundation in memory of Stacy Israel.

Norwalk Community College’s Art, Architecture + Design Department offers a range of courses and programs for transfer or career-oriented students as well as for personal enrichment and professional development.
