Renovated Norwalk Bow Tie Cinemas Grand Opening
Bow Tie Cinemas recently completed their top-to-bottom renovations of the Sono Regent 8 and the Royale 6 theatres in Norwalk.

From Norwalk Now: As part of its ongoing mission to deliver the best possible customer experience, Bow Tie Cinemas recently completed their top-to-bottom renovations of the Sono Regent 8 theatre in South Norwalk, and the Royale 6 theatre further up the Norwalk line on Westport Avenue. Wednesday, October 18 at 6 PM is a private Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Celebration with Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling, the Norwalk Chamber of Commerce, and area businesses in support of Bow Tie Cinemas’ exciting upgrade to the movie-going experience.
The Ultimate renovations include: 100% digital screens and premium sound systems, luxury recliner stadium seating and reserved seating in all auditoriums, brand new lobby and restroom facilities, contemporary concession stand design, and a refreshed décor. The expansive layout and large recliner seating in each auditorium has reduced the overall seating capacity in each theatre, yet is able to accommodate 575 seats at the Regent and 536 at the Royale, a significant amount for this ultimate movie environment.
In addition to the comfort and aesthetic upgrade is an elevated food and beverage program which includes casual restaurant fare and full bar service. The menu features such pub favorites as; three cheese mac and cheese with Ritz Cracker crumbs; eggplant parmesan fries with mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce; chicken & waffles; artisan pizzas; and healthy “Nourish Bowl” options. Bar service includes premium spirits and cocktails made to order, along with an impressive craft beer selection, a variety of wine choices, and even Bow Tie specialty cocktails such as seasonal sangria and mojitos.

Adding to the allure of this innovative style of movie watching is the reserved seating component. Audiences are able to select their seating when they purchase tickets online through FANDANGO.COM, at BOWTIECINEMAS.COM, on site at the Bow Tie Cinema kiosk, or through a Bow Tie Cinema theater representative. Food and beverage orders can be carried in from the concession stand or can be delivered to your seat right up to the end of the previews portion of the show.
