3 Men Facing Assault Charges Following Norwich Fight: Police
Police said three men are facing assault charges following a Norwich fight involving both a pipe and a knife.

NORWICH, CT - Police said three men are facing assault charges following a fight that occurred in downtown Norwich, the New London Day reported. The fight involved both a pipe and a knife, and sent two of the suspects to the hospital.
Police said the incident occurred after Lorenzo Vincente, 31, was charged with breach of peace and interfering with an officer following a disturbance at Mi Casa Restaurant, according to the New London Day. He was later met at his house by Ismael Perez-Osorio, 28, who wanted to drink and hang out. (To sign up for Norwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Police said Perez-Osorio left at one point and then returned to Vincente's home with Israel L. Avila, 28, who was carrying a pipe, the New London Day reported. Police said Avila struck Vincente in the head with the pipe and Vincente stabbed Perez-Osorio in the hand during the incident.
