NORWICH, CT — Two Norwich residents were arrested on multiple narcotics charges on Feb. 7 after police raided their Yantic Street home and seized 650 bags of fentanyl, according to Norwich police.

In addition to the fentanyl, members of the Norwich Police Department Detective Division, Narcotics, and Community Policing Units also seized packaging materials, five opiate pain pills, a police scanner, over $100 in cash, and two way radios.

"Two children were also living in the residence at the time of the service," wrote police in a Facebook post. "The aforementioned search and seizure warrant was granted as a result of a several month long investigation of the pair and their sale of fentanyl in the area."
