Designed for parents, caregivers, and loved ones of middle and high school students, Ending the Silence for Families provides an introduction to youth mental health and suicide prevention. In this approximately 50-minute presentation, participants will learn about mental health conditions, common symptoms and warning signs, and what to look for when a young person may be struggling.
The program will also offer practical guidance for starting conversations about mental health with children and teens. By the end of the presentation, parents and caregivers will have a better understanding of youth mental health and strategies for approaching these important conversations with their children.
This program will be presented virtually. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link.
