Heroin, Fentanyl & Firearms Seized In Norwich Arrest: Police

Norwich police seized a loaded .38 caliber revolver and a bolt-action rifle, among other evidence.

NORWICH, CT — A 48-year-old Norwich man was arrested on narcotics and weapons charges following a police raid this week at his Donahue Drive home, according to a post on the Norwich police Facebook page.

Mark Spruill was arrested by members of the Norwich Police Detective and Patrol divisiond executed the search and seizure warrant and seized a loaded .38 caliber revolver, a bolt action rifle, heroin, fentanyl, soboxone, clonazepam, approximately one pound of marijuana, and approximately one ounce of cocaine and crack cocaine.

Spruill was held on a $100,000.00 cash/surety bond and was scheduled to appear in court on May 1.
