Man Charged with Arson in Norwich Apartment Fire: Report
Police said a Norwich man has been charged with arson in a recent Norwich apartment fire case.

NORWICH, CT - Police said a man has been charged in a Norwich apartment fire that occurred last month, the New London Day reported. The incident occurred April 20 in an occupied building on McKinley Avenue.
Police arrested Daniel G. Elliot-Villarreal, 28, on arson charges Thursday in connection with the fire, according to the New London Day. Eight people were in the building at the time of the fire. (To sign up for Norwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Officers said the fire injured four people, including a firefighter, and killed three animals, the New London Day reported. The blaze also caused approximately $50,000 in damages.
