
NORWICH, CT — Police arrested one man for a 2016 Norwich burglary and are prepared to serve a warrant on another. One of the key clues to solving the crime was a discarded iced tea bottle, police said.
Prime Electric and Lantern Energy vehicles were burglarized on Wisconsin Avenue in June 2016, according to the Day.
A drill from Prime Electric and the discarded bottle were found. A DNA sample matched to Eric Melendez, 44, of Griswold.
