Norwich Clinic Physician Turns Down Plea Deal in Sexual Assault Cases

His case will now see trial.

NORWICH, CT – A physician charged with sexually assaulting women at a clinic turned down a plea deal Wednesday in New London Superior Court, as reported by The Day.

Police said Manoj Saxena, 45, sexually assaulted four women while working at the Concentra Urgent Care Facility through unnecessary exams in 2014 and 2015, according to The Day. He no longer works at the clinic.

Since he turned down the deal, Manoj faces up to 34 years in prison if convicted, The Day reported. His medical license has been suspended while the charges are pending.
