Norwich Knifepoint Robbery Suspect Caught: Police
The accused tried to steal from the Game X-Change on West Main Street.

NORWICH, CT — A 34-year-old man was arrested on first-degree robbery and other charges on April 8 after he allegedly tried to steal $700 worth of merchandise at knifepoint from Game X-Change on West Main Street in Norwich, according to police.
Timothy R. Cook, of no known address, was arrested a short while after the 4:30 p.m. incident, in which a store clerk suffered a minor injury from a brief but violent struggle with the suspect.

- Robbery 1st Degree
- Assault 2nd Degree
- Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree
- Carrying a Dangerous Weapon
- Larceny 5th Degree
Additionally, Cook had nine outstanding arrest warrants for failure to appear and sixth-degree larceny.
His total bail was set at $205,500, which he was unable to post. with total bonds of $105,500.
