(Kunstraum) Dada Post was an artist-run organization, founded in January 2008, by Howard McCalebb in Berlin, Germany. In 2022 Mr. McCalebb moved to Norwich, Connecticut, and establish the art gallery Dada Post USA. Mr. McCalebb is a sculptor and active figure on the international art scene. Dada Post USA is an autonomous space for the production, display and discussion of current art. Foremost, we contemplate artistic expression from the standpoint of pure inspiration emanating from the source – the artist. We are keenly interested in the effects of Globalization on art practice, and the notion of a hybridized Post Modern art practice. As a contemporary art space, Dada Post USA is primarily concerned with artwork that is the most current, reflecting the actual meaning of the term: Contemporary Art. We offer a program of exhibitions and events, featuring videos, poetry/literary readings, music and other live performances, during and between art exhibitions. The original inspiration for both (Kunstraum) Dada Post and Dada Post USA was the Cabaret Voltaire in Zürich, Switzerland and Andy Warhol’s Factory in New York City – which were open venues for impromptu gatherings, events, and artistic experimentation. NORWICH, CT – A local man was arraigned in court Monday on accusations of <a href="http://www.theday.com/policefirecourts/20160815/norwich-man-charged-with-producing-fake-city-state-checks" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">using fake checks to produce thousands of dollars</a>, The Day reported.  Herrick Louis, 30, <a href="http://www.theday.com/policefirecourts/20160815/norwich-man-charged-with-producing-fake-city-state-checks" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">was charged by state police on July 6</a> on charges of gaining thousands of dollars in fake checks from state and municipal agencies, according to The Day. Louis then allegedly recruited people to deposit them into their bank accounts.  Louis is currently <a href="http://www.theday.com/policefirecourts/20160815/norwich-man-charged-with-producing-fake-city-state-checks" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">free on surety bonds totaling $100,000</a>, The Day reported.
