Norwich Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charges: Report
The suspect had hundreds of sexually explicit images in his possession, according to police.
NORWICH, CT — A 42-year-old Norwich man was arrested on multiple child pornography charges Thursday after police found hundreds of sexually explicit images involving young girls on one of his cell phones, reports The Day.
Michael J. Riley, who is currently in jail on unrelated charges, was arrested on a warrant after police were tipped about him from a woman with whom he had an alleged sex-for-drugs relationship, according to authorities. He previously lived on Donahue Drive.
An admitted drug addict, Riley allegedly told law enforcement that he knew it was wrong to view the illegal materials but that he could not control himself.
