Norwich Man Busted Allegedly Dealing Fentanyl: Police
The arrest occurred following an investigation by the Norwich Police Narcotics Unit and Detective Division.

NORWICH, CT — A 39-year-old Norwich man was arrested Wednesday after police discovered he was allegedly dealing fentanyl in the city, according to authorities.
Erik Thomas, of Otrobando Avenue, was apprehended following an investigation by the Norwich Police Narcotics Unit and Detective Division.
At the time of his arrest, Thomas was found with more than 100 bags of fentanyl and $1,732 in cash. He was charged with the following:

- Sale of fentanyl
- Possession of fentanyl
- Possession of fentanyl with intent to sell
He is being held on a $10,000 cash/surety bond and is due in court at a later date.
"The Narcotics Unit urges anyone with drug information to contact them at 860-886-5561 x3152 or x3151," wrote Norwich police in a statement.
