Norwich Man Charged In New London Shooting
A man was arrested after a victim was shot in the leg last week.

NEW LONDON, CT — Police arrested a Norwich man for a shooting that occurred on June 22 in New London, according to police.
Police responded to shots fired at the intersection of Truman and Coit streets. A victim sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.
Police arrested Javier Muniz, 30, on June 28 after securing a warrant for his arrest.

He is charged with first-degree assault, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal use of a firearm, unlawful discharge of a firearm and first-degree reckless endangerment. He is being held on a $150,000 bond.
