Norwich Police Seek Suspected Eastern Savings Bank Robber

NORWICH, CT – Police are seeking a man suspected of robbing a bank Monday afternoon, The Day reported.

Police said they received reports of a man entering Eastern Savings Bank on Main Street close to 1 p.m., according to The Day. The man gave a note to the teller demanding money, to which she complied.

The man then fled the area just before police arrived, The Day reported. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, and no weapon was displayed by the suspect.
