Rash Of Car Burglaries Investigated By Norwich Police

The burglaries occurred this week in a specific area of the city.

NORWICH, CT — A rash of car burglaries in the Norwichtown area of the city are being investigated by Norwich police, according to officials.

The burglaries occurred between 8 p.m. on April 3 and 6 a.m. on April 4, specifically in the areas surrounding Yantic Lane, Browning Road and Sholes Avenue.

"The Norwich Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in solving these cases," wrote officials on the department's Facebook page. "Citizens with any video surveillance, or who saw or heard anything unusual during these hours are encouraged to come forward."
