Two Residents Displaced By Norwich Fire

Fire officials said two Norwich residents were displaced by a recent fire in their home.

NORWICH, CT - Fire officials said two Norwich residents were displaced by a recent fire in their home, the New London Day reported. The incident occurred Sunday night in a two-family house at 11 Orchard Street.

Officials said the fire started in a second-story bedroom, where flames could be seen from the front windows, according to the New London Day. Firefighters then worked aggressively to contain the fire to that room. Officials said no residents or firefighters were injured in the blaze, the New London Day reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
