Astra Studio of Dance & Performing Arts

Astra Studio of Dance & Performing Arts is an Old Saybrook dance studio serving families throughout the Connecticut shoreline. We offer high-quality dance classes for preschool through adult dancers in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, hip hop, contemporary, musical theatre, and acro.

Our programs include both recreational and competitive training, with a strong emphasis on technique, artistry, discipline, and teamwork. Whether a dancer is stepping into the studio for the first time, training at an advanced level, or returning to dance later in life, our faculty is committed to providing professional instruction in a positive, supportive environment.

In addition to youth programming, Astra Studio proudly partners with local organizations, including the Estuary Center, to offer tap classes for senior adults — because dance truly is for every age.
