About PhysicianOne Urgent Care
PhysicianOne Urgent Care, formerly Urgent Care of Connecticut, was founded in 2008 by three local doctors; Dr. Jeannie Kenkare, Dr. Robert Rohatsch and Dr. Bernd Woerner. At PhysicianOne Urgent Care, our experienced physicians practice evidence-based, state-of-the-art medicine and provide excellent care for a wide spectrum of patients, from infants to seniors, and ailments, from common colds to broken bones. In addition to treating common colds and illnesses, our services include X-ray on site, IV fluid hydration, IV medication administration, splinting, and suturing. We also have an in-house lab which gives us the ability to run a full chemistry panel, in addition to a rapid turn-around for send out labs. To aid in patient convenience we have a small pharmacy and can dispense about 30 of our most commonly prescribed medications directly upon discharge from our center. Our full service urgent care medical facilities are open 365 days a year. There is no need to make an appointment – just walk-in.
