• Fatal crash in Seymour (newportdispatch.com) — A deadly head-on collision on Great Hill Road in Seymour Thursday night left a 79-year-old Oxford man dead and a Seymour resident injured, and shut the road for several hours. Police say the Seymour driver’s injuries are not life-threatening, and state troopers are helping local officers investigate what caused the crash.
