• Teacher Arrested At Sporting Event Resigns From Derby Nonprofit (patch.com) — Seymour residents may want to know that school board member John Hatfield, a Milford teacher, was arrested earlier this month after an incident at a Hartford Yard Goats game and has now resigned from Derby-based nonprofit TEAM’s board. He remains listed as a Seymour Board of Education member, and the superintendent has not commented while state technical school officials review the matter.
