
The varsity girls basketball team lost to Weston 46-39 at home Tuesday night.
Jordyn Tolomeo scored 14 points and Rhiannon Bacik had 10 to lead the Wolverines, who are 2-5 on the season. The team’s next game is at 7 on Friday at Stratford.
Weston was led by Ellie Martin and Lianna Hursh, who scored 17 and 14 points, respectively.

The Oxford HS boys varsity basketball team dropped a 74-54 game to Weston on the road Tuesday night.
Oxford was led by high-scorers Tyler Gruttadauria, 18 points, and Caithan Pratt, who scored 15. J.T. Van Kamerik and Jason Mraz had 9 rebounds apiece for Oxford, which is 1-5 on the season.

"They played very good defense and they executed better,” said Oxford Coach Al Tolomeo, adding that Oxford was down by just four at halftime and that the team missed some easy shots.
Oxford is back in action Friday night at 7 at home against Stratford.
