OXFORD, CT — Oxford now has 33 laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases, according to the state Department of Public Health Saturday.

First Selectman George Temple signed a state of emergency declaration on March 16. Town hall has been closed since March 18 and all board and commission meetings have been canceled. Those in need of assistance for help with shopping or supplies can call the first selectman's office 203-888-2543 extension 3027.

Schools will remain closed through at least May 20 per Gov. Ned Lamont's executive order. Students are distance learning.
