• Electronics Manufacturer Opens Oxford Plant (patch.com) — Oxford residents are seeing new industrial activity as Indiana-based Microscreen opens an 8,000-square-foot electronics manufacturing plant on Riggs Street, serving as the company's East Coast hub. The facility produces precision stencils for circuit boards with rapid turnaround and one-day shipping across much of the Northeast, though the company has not yet disclosed local staffing plans. 
• Here are 25 CIAC girls cross country runners to watch during the 2026 season (ctpost.com) — One Oxford High runner, junior Callie DeLuise, is among 25 girls statewide highlighted as cross country standouts to watch this season after strong Naugatuck Valley League and Class SS finishes. The list showcases top returning athletes from conferences and state championship meets across Connecticut.
