New Milford Beats Oxford 13-2

Alex Miller hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the first inning to tie his Oxford teammates at two-runs apiece with New Milford on Monday.

But that was the last time a Wolverine player crossed the plate, and New Milford kept pouring on the offense en route to a 13-2 victory over 5-4 Oxford.

For New Milford, Greg Ostner got the win on the hill with 13 strikeouts. He also helped himself at the plate with a two-run homer of his own and a single. Donny Ek had a two-run home run and a double for New Milford, which improved to 4-3 on the season.
