OHS Softball Wins Final Reg. Season Game

Paige Husar gave up just one run in a complete game on the mound, and helped herself at the plate with an RBI double and two runs scored to lead the Oxford HS softball team to an 8-1 victory over Weston in its final game of the regular season.

Natalie Peterson contributed a single, three RBIs and scored a run. Stephanie Karcher had a double, a single and scored two runs, while Kelsey Svenson chipped in with a single and a double. Husar struck out nine batters in the game.

Oxford finishes the regular season with a 9-11 record; Weston closes at 6-11. The state tournament schedule had not been released as of Friday.
