Oxford 12-Year-Old Babe Ruth Wins State Game 16-2
Team makes it to the fourth round of the tournament in Bridgeport.
The Oxford 12-year-old Babe Ruth All Star team defeated New Milford 16-2 in the state tournament Wednesday.
The team was winning big when the rain came down at Seaside Park in Bridgeport. The game, however, was quickly called due to a run rule that ends the game when one team is beating the other by a wide margin.
