OXFORD, CT — Oxford’s animal control officer appears to have stepped down, according to a post shared by Friends of The Oxford Animal Shelter.
In the message, the officer said Monday, April 6, was their last day as the animal control officer for the Town of Oxford. The post thanked the community, residents and donors, and also thanked the Oxford Police Department for its support.
“It has been a great honor to have served this community and all the residents in it for the time that I did,” the post said. The officer also said they were “looking forward to the next chapter” in life.
