
The Oxford High School baseball team improved to 6-5 with a 3-0 win over Stratford while the OHS softball team jumped to 4-6 with an 11-5 victory over Stratford. Both games were on the road.
Matt Renzoni had two hits including the go ahead RBI single in the sixth inning for Oxford. Chris Woolfrey three hits including a two-run double, and Ryan Faroni pitched a complete game shutout for the Wolverines.
For the softball team, Paige Husar had four singles, two runs scored and struck out 14 batters on the mound to defeat 2-8 Stratford, according to the Republican-American.

Stephanie Karcher had a double, two singles and two RBI, while Emily Lisewski had three hits and two RBI for Oxford, the Republican-American states.
