Oxford Cheerleaders Win State Title

The Oxford High School cheerleading team won the Class S state title for the third straight year Friday night in New Haven.

The team, which competed in the in Orlando, Fla., this year, is led by coach Marie Kashuba, who won the state's cheerleading coach of the year for the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference for the third time this year.

The 2010-11 Oxford High School cheerleading team roster:

Seniors: Carinne Corte-Real, Johnna D'Ambuoso, Victoria Nichio, Stephanie Romanowski, and co-captains Haley Dauerty and Kaylee Yocher

Juniors: Morgar Hare, Meghan Isberg and Casey Moran
