Oxford Church Holds Grief Program for Children Who Have Lost Loved Ones

The Bereavement Ministry of St. Thomas the Apostle will be conducting an educational program to help adults understand a child's grief.

From St. Thomas the Apostle Church: Children are often forgotten during the grieving process even though they too experience grief and often do not know how to react to their feelings.

Grieving children have unique needs depending upon their developmental age and experiences with loss. Is your child grieving the loss of someone dear to them? Do you anticipate a loss or want to prepare a child for such an eventuality?

The Bereavement Ministry of St. Thomas the Apostle Church will be conducting an educational program to help adults understand a child’s grief and how to satisfy their needs as they grieve the loss of a loved one. This program, to be held in the Church Hall, located at 733 Oxford Road, Oxford, CT on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 6:30 to 9:00PM, is open to all interested adults and is free of charge.
