Oxford Cross Country Results from Wickham Invitational

Oxford Cross Country results from the Wickham Park Invitational this weekend in East Hartford

The Oxford Girls XC team came in 6th out of 35 teams in the Seeded Race at the Wickham Invitational. Marcea Stilson came in 10th (21:06), Caylee Richardson 14th (21:16) Skyler Werner 31st (22:02), Sara Ponce 70th (23:11), Brianna Hoffner 95th (23:40) and Sara Thorpe 203rd (30:27) led the varsity team. Oxford ran without number 2 runner Stephanie Vitka who was out with a sprained ankle.

The Boys XC team came in 41st out of 71 teams in the Unseeded Race at the Wickham Invitational. Cameron Swift came in 19th (17:46), Brandon Au 184th (20:12), Ian Murray 185th (20:12), Richard Katreyna 300th (21:52), Zack Latka 311th (22:06) and Sean Coffindaffer 334th (22:32) ran in the varsity race.

Lindsey Koski came in 80th in the 4000 meter freshman girls race with at time of 22:34

Greg Herold was Oxford's top freshman boy in the 4000 meter freshman boys race with an 162nd place finish in a time of 21:05 

In the Girls JV race Sarah Woolfrey was Oxford's top finisher in 223rd place with a time of 29:54 for the 3.1 miles (5000 meter) course. Joe Venturini was the top OHS boy in the Boys JV race with 161st place finish with a time of 23:46
