Oxford Election Results 2021: Temple Easily Wins Re-Election

Thousands of Oxford residents cast votes Tuesday in the 2021 municipal election.

OXFORD, CT — Republican incumbent First Selectman George R. Temple handily won a sixth term in Oxford Tuesday over Bull Moose Party challenger Tanya Carver, reported the Republican-American.

Temple unofficially received 3,009 votes, compared to just 406 for Carver.

For the Board of Selectmen, one seat was available; Democrat David W. McKane ran against Republican Arnold Jensen and Bull Moose candidate Alan S. Goldstone.

Board of Finance — Democrats Eric D. Goldstein; Robert Campbell; and Susan L. Arpin against Republicans Paula Jensen and Jack Kiley, and Bull Moose candidate Israel Oscar Perez.

Board of Assessment Appeals — Democrat Nicole Dykstra vs. Republican Martin Wing vs. Bull Moose candidate Edward L. Carver, Jr.

Planning and Zoning Commission:

Democrats - Joshua Dykstra; Peter Zbras, Sr.

Republicans - Daniel Wall; Patrick Cocchiarella; and Jesse Schremmer

Bull Moose - David L. Stocker

The Board of Education race was essentially uncontested because five candidates were vying for five seats.
