Oxford Fire to Hold Boot Drive for Newtown This Weekend
The department will be set up at three locations in town.
The Oxford Fire Department will be holding a boot drive to raise money that will be directly given to the families that were affected by the tragic events on Friday in Newtown.
The boot drive will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the following locations:

- Center Fire Company will be set up on Route 67 near the Oxford Grange
- Quaker Farms Fire Company will be set up on Route 188 near the Christ Church Congregational near Hogsback Road
- Riverside Fire Company will be set up on Route 34 near the New Haven Rowing Club (Seymour/Oxford Town line
